Dogs and cats are part of the family. Here is how we keep them comfortable and safe before, during, and after a professional cleaning.

Before we arrive

  • Give pets a safe space away from equipment noise (laundry, spare room, or shady yard).
  • Secure leads or carriers ready for quick relocation when the crew arrives.
  • Pick up toys, bowls, and bedding so they stay dry and clean.

During the clean

We use biodegradable detergents that break down quickly. We also carry enzyme treatments specifically designed for pet accidents. Our technicians avoid heavy perfumes that can overwhelm sensitive noses.

For anxious pets, let us know and we will minimise machine noise, use door barriers, and move slowly through the home.

Drying & re-entry

  • Keep pets off freshly cleaned areas until completely dry to avoid paw prints and resoiling.
  • Open windows or use fans for extra airflow.
  • Provide clean bedding or a favourite blanket that did not get damp.

Dry times typically range from 3-6 hours. We can leave air movers to speed things up.

Accident prevention tips

  • Schedule regular toilet breaks before and after the clean
  • Use enzymatic cleaners for any future accidents (avoid bleach)
  • Consider stain guard protection in pet zones
  • Keep water bowls on silicone mats to catch drips
